Design Process
These are the first exciting stages in designing your outdoor kingdom!!
· Initial Meeting
This service is complimentary!! After calling and setting up a time to meet with one of our designers, we will meet with you at your home to discuss your landscaping needs and ideas. We will ask you for your plot plan, discuss fees, timelines and services that we can provide and you will be able to review our portfolio of recently designed and installed projects and see first hand our commitment to excellence. ***Potential clients wanting only ideas from one of our expert designers and not interested in having empire do any construction, service fee's may apply.
· Site Evaluation
This evaluation includes an analysis of your current landscape’s features and conditions. We will observe topography, structures, important views, noisy areas and privacy concerns. Photographs of the site are taken to reference throughout the designing process.
· Design Work
A detailed landscaping plan will be developed based on the findings from the site evaluation and the client’s project goals. We may schedule a conceptual meeting before the final landscape plan is presented to verify that the design is in line with your vision for the project. Estimated Costs for a design are based on the size of lot and complexity of the design. A percentage of the design is refunded back to you upon signing an installation contract with Empire Landscaping.
· Final Landscape Plan and Presentation
Empire Landscaping will provide you with a detailed landscape plan that will include a combination of the following:
- Layout of all new planting bed
- Planting detail of all new trees, shrubs, perennials and grasses
- Names and location of existing trees relevant to the design
- Layout of all hardscape elements including arbors, fire pits, water features, outdoor kitchens, patios, retaining walls, landscape lighting, fences and walkways
- Two copies of the final design in plan view and drawn to scale
- Complete Bid for installation of the final design
